Motherhood changed my life completely. 7 weeks into it and I can’t believe how fast Nicholas grew already. Almost any newborn clothes fits him anymore! I definitely believe now when people told me to enjoy every minute of each stage because it goes by so fast… Well, besides all the hours without sleep I am having and all the thousand times I need to go on his crib to put the binky back in his mouth, being a mom is truly an incredible experience – full of joy, unconditional love and lots of work, all worth it – specially when you see a smile on your baby’s face! I wouldn’t change this moment for anything… I am in love with my little guy and seeing his smiles melts my heart! :). Can’t wait to catch a big one and share it here!

Love this photo Mark took of us..

It’s hard to imagine that it’s been over a month already. The days just kind of fly by. Right now, Nicholas is pretty alert most of the time. He likes to look at things, especially faces; He recognizes my voice and one thing he loves for sure is bath time! I have been trying to take photos of him for a while, but we had really hard weeks in the beginning and I almost couldn’t shoot any newborn photos of him, which makes me sad; but oh well. This weekend we are planning to try it again. Wish me luck! :)
Here are a few pictures to celebrate the one-month mark.

I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful this day was… After 9 months anxiously waiting to meet my “little peanut” and getting prepared for the most amazing time of my life.. I can’t believe that Nicholas is finally here. It was quite of a journey.. I remember how extremely excited and happy I was when I found out I was pregnant, but nothing can compare to the moment I am living right now. I have received the most precious and perfect gift ever and I feel so blessed.
Baby Nicholas was born on May 20th at 7:14p.m – 7lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches. The moment I saw him I fell in love.. completely. Pure joy. Unconditional love. This little boy is the result of a beautiful love I share with my husband and I couldn’t be happier.
I wanted to share some of the images of the day he was born. Images that I heart.. precious and amazing moments that I experienced and memories that will last forever. My dear friend Katina was there luckily just in time to capture this magical and intense chapter of my life. She did it beautifully. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every time I see Nicholas’ birth photographs it brings tears on my eyes…

My mom.

No words can describe the feeling when I hold my baby for the very first time…

The brand new daddy cutting the umbilical cord.

Love looking this image of my mom looking at Nicholas.

My sweet boys…

I will be posting more photos of baby Nicholas soon! Now there is a little guy wanting some of his mom’s love! ;)

The past 32 weeks has been flying by, can’t believe it’s getting so close to meet my baby boy! I have been all busy decorating the nursery and getting everything ready for my little peanut! Still a lot to do in his room, but it’s all coming together so cute! I saw many nurseries ideas on the internet along the past months and got really inspired by one.
I really wanted a sleigh crib, and love the one I purchase. My mom made the stripped curtain and I love it! The bedding arrived today! Got tell a little secret… I constantly go to Nicholas’ room, sit on the floor and start imagining when he will be here. Has been such an amazing experience!

I painted his name letters with the accent colors of the room. Now I am waiting for some frames I ordered, then next is to hang his name on the wall.

The blabla dolls are absolutely cute!! I still want to buy some others.. they are just too adorable! Meet Nicholas’ new friends: Leonardo the lion, Buzz the bee and Bubbles the cat! Love them!
