First I would like to say that Hope was so far the best one in the competition and I am not saying that only because she is my friend, I really believe it!
Last Thursday we drove to Peoria, to support Hope on the audition for the Skye Idol competition Season 2 at the Skye Restaurant. We invited who wanted to support Hope and besides the fact that is always fun to hang out Hope and Eric. Every time I hear Hope singing I feel so proud to have such a talented friend, I am talking about a truly blessed and smoothly voice that makes you want to hear more and more…

Yeah.. I know this one is a little blurred.. but still a good photo of part of the crew! Also I would like to say Thank You to my friends Lorenna, Dave and Nathalia for join us that night! :)

As always, Hope performed so nicely and the judges said all nice things about her as a singer and her performance. After hearing all great things on the Judges feedback, we all were sure she was the winner. But for our disappointment, we didn’t hear her name on the final… I still can’t understand why Hope didn’t win… but it’s ok. What matters is she got lots of contacts, and people that appreciate her music, also she will not stop going after her dreams. I am sure she will be where she wants to be someday..
Hope, I am so glad to have you as my friend! You go girl! If you would like to know more about Hope Cassity visit her website.

Yesterday I met with a very good friend of mine, Lucia. She wanted to have more casual photos of her taken, this time without a Wedding dress. Lucia and I already had a beautiful Bridal Photo Session back in June. You can check it out on the Bridal gallery on my website or on June archives on my Blog.
Here is some shots from the day:

It was fun walking around and taking photos of Lucia. I had a great time!

Hope and Eric were married on Saturday, August 16th, in Seaside Beach, Florida. They are originally from Alabama but they both live in Arizona. The wedding took place at a fantastic beach house rented just for this special occasion. The house was full of family and friends, everyone helping to get things ready for the big day! I got there a little early I wanted to give some extra help too, and I did the Shrimp Cocktails for the party! ;)
I went down to the beach to check out the arrangements for the ceremony. I was impressed with how everything turned out. It was so beautiful!

The Bride was getting beautiful for the big day:

The Bouquet was amazing!

The lovely dress:

I cautht Hope’s mom reading a love card sent by Eric to Hope:

The groom’s cake was made by Hope’s mom, isn’t that adorable?

The Bride was stunning:

I introduce you Mr. and Mrs. O’Brien! The first kiss:

After this beautiful and very emotional ceremony, we stayed on the beach a little longer to capture this:

Hope was gorgeous on her Wedding dress and her smile is all hapiness!

The next morning we walked around Rosemary Beach to capture more romantic shots:

We could not miss the opportunity to “trash the dress”! Love those shots! Thanks Hopie! :)

I would like to say a big Thank You for the wonderful couple for this great time I had shooting their Wedding! It was my pleasure and I am so glad that we are friends now! Wish Hope and Eric all the hapiness in the world!
Have a fabulous honeymoon! I can’t wait for us to hang out more!

Last Friday I went to Florida for a very special occasion. I went to shoot Hope and Eric’s Wedding! On Friday night I drove to this little cute art gallery in Panama City called “The Gallery Above” for them Rehersal dinner. I arrived a little late because my flight was delayed and I was lost trying to find the place from my mapquest printed directions. I need a GPS next time for sure! lol
It was so nice meeting all Hope and Eric’s family and friends. Everyone is so nice and friendly!
Hope sang a song that she made specially for her father. Eric also got one special song as well. Beautiful lyrics mixed with her beautiful voice and guitar!

Most of the guests came from Alabama, but also from New York, Texas and even Canada.

I loved the art on the stair steps. I could not resist to take a photo of it!

I took a picture of the kids creating art, drawing and painting. They put their masks on for this shoot!

I saw my place mark on the table and it was really nice… Hope and I meet couple days before their engagement session and we became good friends since then. Also I want to compliment the decoration and all the cute ideas that Hope had for the Wedding and Dinner, she has a fabulous taste and I loved everything!

This not not a commom blanket.. It was made by Jane (Hope’s mom) and she did the Wedding invitation on it! How cute is that!

Hope has a surprise at the end of the dinner! Swing dance lessons for everyone who wanted to shake their bodies a bit learning some cool dance steps. It was fun watching and taking photos of them!

Congratulations to this lovely couple!
I am always working to make my Website and Blog look better, and today I have the pleasure to show my new creations. I needed to put my brain to work and all my Photoshop skills in hands to come out with ideas… not enough, I am so lucky to have my hubby helping me out and suggesting different designs and ideas to create a cool logo for my business. Thanks hunnie!
So here it is! Brand new logo, blog design and photo border! Still working on my blog.. it will have some other changes soon, but I already LOVE it! ;)
