Last month I was contact by the Honorary Consul of Brazil for Arizona, Brad Brados, to coverage the Consular Corps of Arizona event – The 26th annual Ambassadors’ Ball. ”Brazil, A Tropical Country” was the theme of the the event that happened last Saturday 22nd and was held at the Hyatt Regency Resort at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale.
Brazilian cuisine, music, entertainment and decor was part of this Gala night and I had the pleasure (not only for being brazilian!) of being there to register such a exquisite event. The room was full of nice guests, very well dressed and enjoying this fun night!
The Ambassadors’ Ball will benefit ASU Global Engagement, SOS Children’s Villages International and Casa Brazil - which provides 500 children with at least one hot meal a day in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil.
All the photos of the 2008 Ambassadors’ Ball are available on the ONLINE GALLERY here.
You will be able to do a free download of your photos. If you would like to order any prints, please contact me for more details. Don’t forget to book your Family Portraits for the Holidays.. It’s right around the corner! Call or email me for more details. Enjoy the visit!

I really enjoyed photographing/talking to everyone and I made some really cool new friends!

I am spending a week vacation in Escondido, CA. I am having a great time with my husband and we are celebrating our first anniversary tomorrow. We are having such a blast here! Last Friday we arrived at our time share and we are hanging out at the Resort. On Saturday we went to downtown San Diego, only 40 minutes away, to meet one of my best friends that I haven’t see for 2 years and we had such a good time catching up! Sunday, believe it or not, I got a nice tan on the beach! The weather here is perfect. I can’t believe it’s almost December! It feels like a nice summer day and I LOVE it here!
Today I went to Sea World for the first time and I really enjoyed! What a fabulous place! I will be posting some pictures of my the trip soon.
On Sunday I went to shoot an adorable couple. Alice and John were up for anything and I had so much fun with these two. I love shooting in different locations and I was excited to see so many cool places to shoot!

This is too funny! I love their goofy faces!

Aren’t they a perfect match? Love this shot!

These sweet girls had a super cool Birthday Party last Tuesday at Girly Girlz, in Scottsdale. Veronika and Eliana are twins and they just turned 3 years old. I was so excited when Jana contacted me to shoot her girls’ birthday party!
Three generations – Grandmother, Mother, and daughters! They are all gorgeous!

Meet the princess Veronika:

and Princess Eliana:

Jana did great choosing the location for her girls birthday party. That night I had a desire to be their age again, just to enjoy all the fun. Those little princesses started by having their hair, makeup, and nails done. Afterwards they had a tea party, put a bunch of jewelry on, and had lots of fun!

Some of their friends, all so cute!

I love the funky looking room decoration! How cute is that?!

Happy Birthday girls! Make a Wish!

Veronika needed to take some calls :)

Jana, Thank you so much for having me there. I am excited to hang out with you again and take more beautiful photos of you and your girls! To check the Slideshow for Veronika and Eliana’s Birthday Party clique here!
Last Sunday I had the opportunity to shoot the engagement session of Michelle and Dan. They are getting married next February and I am so excited to shoot their wedding!
The engagement session took place at Old Downtown Scottsdale and even though the weather was not perfect, the session was excellent and I have beautiful photographs to share of this cute couple!

Love this shot!

This is my favorite shot of the day:

I can’t wait to photograph them again in February!

Last Saturday I had the privilege to photograph the sweetest little family. Priscila, Scott and their cute son Andrew. Priscila is also brazilian and I had the pleasure of meeting her in person two months ago, even that we are virtual friends on Orkut for around 3 years. Always we planned to meet, but didn’t workout before, then I moved to Las Vegas in 2006 and Priscila and I lost contact. Finally this year we got in touch again, and I hope to see this friendship grows, because she is really a sweet person.
Priscila saw the Engagement Session I shoot in Apache Junction and she loved the idea of shooting there, specially for being surround of mountains.
Here are some of my favorites photographs of the day:

Andrew is adorable!

Andrew was kind of busy driving us around! :)

Priscila has such a beautiful smile!

I had a great time doing this Family Portrait! They are such a lovely family!
If you still want to book your session for this season, hurry up! The holiday season is around the corner, and still time to order enlargement prints, cards, calendars and books with your favorites photographs on it!
