I spent 20 days in Natal-Brazil, where I grew up and I must say I did have a blast. It was so good to see my entire family and good friends. This is the hard part about living in United States, be away from people that I love. I miss them so much! I do have to admit that I miss brazilian food a lot, specially the typical food from Northeast of Brazil, oh so good! The down side of my trip: 6 pounds extra! Well, nothing than salad and gym can’t fix! Please don’t invite me for happy hours for the next 2 weeks! :)
I will be sharing a few photos of my trip just to show a bit the fun I had and give an idea what looks like where I came from, since I am always being asked by people interested to know more about Brazil. Enjoy it and don’t be jealous! ;) It’s just an AMAZING place to visit.
Maracajau Beach is really fun and the water is nice and warm! We got in this boat and it went 30 minutes away into the ocean. You can notice some spots on the ocean horizon of this photograph, is where the boats stops for snorkeling and scuba diving.

My friend Ale held a little turtle that was found swimming among us!

Fruits everywhere and all the kinds!

On the way back home we stooped to eat tapioca with Ginga (fried little fishes) in another beach. In Brazil, the word tapioca refers to a kind of pancake made from manioc starch and water. oh is so good! I love sweet tapioca! My favorite is with cheese, coconut and condensed milk! Is just too good and I had it a couple times while I was in Brazil.

The beautiful city of Natal and the soccer stadium, you don’t want to see how full it gets when soccer times are playing! Crazy stuff!

Because Natal is a city that attracts lot of tourists, specially from Europe, the hand-made craft art in Natal is huge and very interesting. These bottles are filled with colorful sands forming a nice view of the beaches around here. Isn’t cool?

My trip was awesome, but I really missed home! It was hard to be away from my hubby and dogs. I must say that I love going back to Brazil to visit, but even better than that is coming back home! I just love my life here. I got a nice surprise from Mark at the airport – Awww He is such an awesome hubby!

Two weeks ago I shot the engagement session of an awesome couple that I really enjoyed taking photographs. Stacy and Greg are getting married in May and I am really happy that I will be part of their big day! They are really fun to be around, coolest personality and very positive energy. You can totally tell how much in love they are just by looking the pictures I captured!
Benson – Their cute dog joined for some photos too!

We headed down to the second location for more cool shots!

This one is so cute!

Stacy and Greg, can’t wait to shoot your wedding and to trash the dress in Mexico! :) You guys are so much fun!

I know never took that long to post on my Blog before, but I have a good reason! Las week was very busy shooting and doing some crazy packing last minute because I really didn’t have any free time! I am actually on vacation in Natal-Brazil, the city where I grew up and spent most of my life. Also known as the “Sun City”, Natal is the Northeastern state capital which has the most to offer tourists. Its annual average temperature of 26ºC (78ºF) together with the constant breeze, ensure continual sunny days. NASA considers the air in Natal as the purest in the Americas! I am having lots of fun here, but missing my hubby a lot, too bad he could not come this time! The coolest thing is that my friend Alessandra from Phoenix joined me on this trip and is great to show her around!
So these past days I have been enjoying my family and friends, and didn’t have time to post all the beautiful sessions I shot the past weeks! So be turned,I will try to blog it very soon! For now enjoy a sneak peak of my adventures in Brazil! ;)

I saw this car made of a coconut and wanted to share here! Isn’t cool?

To end this Blog post I wanted to show this delicious grilled lobster that I had on the beach! If you haven’t come to Natal yet you should serious consider coming here! It’s yummy! ;)

Last Thursday I met with some wonderful photographers friends for the coolest photo shoot! All American was the theme of it and It was awesome!!! All this gorgeous models having a blast on this hot location in Mesa and all these super cool photographers that I have been meeting here in AZ were there hanging out and having fun shooting. It’s amazing to see the results of this shoot, killer images from all of the photographers! Even that we all shared the same models and location, we still can see how different this art can be, since everyone has a different way of capturing the same subject and each editing is so unique and beautiful. It was awesome!
I got lots of cool photographs and I am so excited to share it!

Thank you for this fun afternoon! I had an amazing time shooting and hanging out with you all!
