Reception starts…

The cake was so beautiful and delicious, it was made by Elegant Cake Creations. The sweets on the right side were made in Brazil, it’s a tradition there to serve it in weddings and since Jussara is from Brazil, it was in her “must to have” list for the wedding! Thank God… I am glad I got to taste some of those goodies once a while!

The flowers were from God’s Garden Treasures and they did such beautiful job!

The guest book was a totally hit! Everyone complimented how beautiful it looks! I will be posting more photos of it soon. Brides, it is a “must to have” for the wedding, a modern and awesome guest book with pictures from the engagement session and enough space for all your friends and family not only to sign their names, but leave you their messages…

Another influence from Brazilian weddings is to wear silly objects to get the party started, making the dance floor even more fun! My friends Lorena and David passed around colorful glasses, wigs, hat, girly crowns… I think is a cute idea and everybody had a blast! Including me, of course! :)

Shooting and partying with my friends at Jussara and David’s wedding was totally awesome!!!

On August 15, 2009 Jussara and David tied the knot at the Firesky Resort in Scottsdale. They are like family to me, and I was so excited for their big day to come! Specially because many of my friends were there being part of this awesome day! I know so many people have been checking out my blog lately, dying to see more shots of the wedding… I am sorry for the wait! I received so many messages asking me when I was going to post more photos! Here it is! You know one of those moments that you can’t make a decision because you have so much to choose from?! Ok… this is how this blog post is! So many beautiful images I took on Jussara and David’s wedding that is hard to decide which ones are going to the Blog! Be ready for a Part II coming soon!

I was so glad seeing one of my best friends looking so gorgeous, getting ready to marry the man of her dreams… I keep looking this image over and over, coz I feel how happy and amazed she was right before saying “I do!”.  Besides, it’s one of my favorite images of all the times.

Jussara sneak peeking the ceremony site from the balcony! After getting inside,  she happily screamed to me – “I am getting married!”.

A Boudoir book with some amazing photos of Jussara was a nice surprise for David! His reaction was “Wow! Amazing…”.

The ceremony was so beautiful… Both were very emotional and Jussara couldn’t hold back some tears of happiness!

Congratulations Jussara and David! I love you both! I am so happy being part of your wedding day as your photographer and being able to capture this magic moment in your lives. Thank you for making my job so easy and exciting! ;) I wish you a lovely honeymoon!

I haven’t post on my blog lately, I know. It has been a crazy month having my backyard and pool done. Glad it is all over and we can enjoy the rest of the summer! Also I have been really busy working on new projects, new website and new brand. I am really excited for all what is about to come! Also organizing a trip to Aruba by the end of month with my hubby and friends… yeah, another trip. Thank God! I can’t wait to lay on the beach, having a coconut water, or maybe a pina colada! ;) We have a free week vacation offered by our time share and we picked Aruba! Yay! It will be awesome!

Anyway… I am animal lover kind person, specially dogs. I love them! They are super cute, so much love they can give to us and looking their cute faces makes me happy. I have four dogs at home. Yeah, youheard! Four. Two of them belonged to my mother in law. She asked my husband and I to take care of them before she passed last April. Has not been easy having four of these cute things around the house, but we are making it work. A lot of adjustments, patient and double of dog food!

Rusty is our Miniature Pincher, he is around 14 years old. Poor guy, he had been through a lot before being adopted by Mark around 3 years ago. He was at the pound after his first owner passed away, then hoping house to house until Mark took him. It was so nice of Mark adopting an older dog and giving him a good life until his last days. He haven’t been in a good shape lately and we don’t know how long he will stay with us… make us sad.

Hello, I am Daisy! I am 3 years old Maltese. :) When I saw Daisy it was love a first sign… She is adorable, silly, tiny and has a great personality! I love her!

I feel like we have a house full of kids wanting mama and sometimes can be a little bit challenging, ok.. maybe a lot, but we are all adjusting well. Chloe and Chrissy joined the family in April. Chloe is a cute Bichon who is obsessed with tennis balls! You can play with her all day and she will bring her ball back to you every time. If ignored, Chloe will put her ball right in your hands, to start over again! She is very well behaved and follows me everywhere I go! Just a cuttie!

The last one, I promise! Ha! Chrissy is a 4 year old Maltese. She is the most adorable thing! She loves to play with her tail, trying to catch it and she goes round and round.. non-stopping! It’s hilarious! I am planning to make a video of her doing it so I can prove how funny it is! She is a very sweet dog…

I didn’t plan to have so many dogs, life changes when we least expect. Never thought about having more than two! Mark and I will keep the promise we made. We love each one of them.
